Enjoy wildlife encounters as you game drive in Tanzanian national parks. Navigate through the Tarangire National Park, home to Tanzania's largest elephant population and the world-famous Ngorongoro Highlands, where you can spot cape buffalo, rhinoceros, and hippopotamus amid the caldera's verdant plains. Camp through Tanzania's oldest park and a Unesco World Heritage Site, Serengeti National Park. It is home to the spectacular wildebeest migration and offers top-class wildlife viewing throughout the year.

Itinerary

Day1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport & Check-in at The Bay Leaf Arusha
- Meet your local representative at the airport and drive to your accommodation in Arusha.
- Get a short brief of your itinerary from a local guide during the drive.
Overnight at The Bay Leaf Boutique Hotel & Restaurant
Day: 2 Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- Have your early morning breakfast and make your way to Tarangire National Park.
- Admire giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes add to the wonders of this nature reserve.
- Witness some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.
- Spot three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings, as Tarangire is known as home to them.
- Absorb the landscape and get a perfect view of the sensational wildlife.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire river and afternoon game drives.
- Head to your accommodations located in Karatu.

Day 3: Drive from Karatu to Serengeti National Park
- Enjoy your early morning breakfast and travel through the cooler highlands towards southern Serengeti.
- Head to the central park, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and attracts most of the Serengeti’s wildlife.
- Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an evening game drive in the Serengeti National Park.
- Return to your accommodation before dark for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands
- Continue with a game drive until lunchtime.
- After lunch, head to Ngorongoro for an overnight stay.
- Visit the Maasai people who live in the Ngorongoro conservation area on the way.
- Learn about Maasai culture and traditional practices.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 6: Drive from Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
- Descend the crater for a game drive after your breakfast.
- Pass through the massive collapsed volcano, home to over 25,000 mammals including the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard.
- Witness spotted hyenas, rare warthogs, and over 500 bird species.
- After an extensive game drive and a picnic for lunch at the hippo pool, leave the crater in the late afternoon.
- Head to Arusha town for an overnight stay or airport drop-off.

GENERAL

Conditions in Africa are not the same as those in developed countries, and standards of service, medical facilities, safety and security may often be lower than those in your home countries. Please note that the laws and regulations of the country in which services are provided apply to your holiday arrangements and not those of your home country.

ACCOMMODATION

Selections of accommodation consider elegant and unique hotels/Lodges/Camps that are attractive with good facilities, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. We request our guest to advise if they have any dietary requirements in advance. We reserve the right to alternate equivalent or superior hotels regarding your booking.

COMPLAINTS

If you have any complaint, it should be reported immediately to the Safari Guide or Safari Tour Leader and the supplier. They will do their best to help you. If you are not satisfied, you should submit a written report to the Manager/Supplier as soon as possible after the incident. It should not be later than 30 days after the completion of your holiday/safari/tour. This will allow us to investigate fully. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any complaint not notified by this procedure.

ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

The information, descriptions, and opinions given by us regarding itineraries, national parks, gorilla permits, animal sightings, accommodation, and security are given in good faith, based on the most current information existing. Care has been taken to ensure the truthfulness of the information provided. We cannot accept any responsibility for any mistakes or omissions caused by issues past our control.

FORCE MAJEURE

We regret we cannot compensate where the proper performance of our duty is affected by any incident which the supplier of the service(s) in question or we could not, even with all due care, anticipate or avoid. Such events may include war, terrorist activity, unexpected government acts, riots, civil strife, natural disaster, border closures, industrial disputes, fire, road closures, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, land and air travel, extreme weather conditions and other similar incidents beyond our capability to manage.

INSURANCE

It’s a requirement when booking your holiday that you arrange personal travel insurance, which is relevant and effective. Persons not fit for long trips due to heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap, advanced pregnancy or mental illness are advised not to participate in such rigorous travel programs. The insurance should cover death, injury, theft of the clients’ personal property and medical expenses. Activities with greater risk such as walking safari and Mountaineering should also be covered.

BAGGAGE

All personal belongings and baggage are at the passenger's own risk.

NATIONAL PARKS

We strongly criticize the collecting of any specimen from the natural world. Our safaris provide the chance to watch and photograph wildlife only, not to disturb it.

TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS ON TOUR

We reserve the right to take photographic images of individual participants to use for the commercial promotion of our safaris. Any Tour member/leader who wishes that his/her picture not be used is asked to identify him/herself to the Naturalist guide at the start of the safari tour.

PLEASE NOTE

The company reserves the right to vary the safari services agreed with the client in the event of unpredicted conditions, such as bad weather, road closures, and security issues. In such cases, option arrangements will be made as situations permit.
