Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Begin the safari as your guide picks you up from your Arusha hotel around 8:00 AM.

   • Drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game drives.

   • Observe colossal elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, lions, leopards, and various antelopes near the Tarangire River.

   • Head to a nearby public campsite for dinner and overnight stay in a comfortable tent.

2. Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

   • Enjoy an early breakfast at the campsite.

   • Embark on a final morning game drive in Tarangire.

   • Drive towards Lake Manyara National Park.

   • Experience an afternoon game drive to spot elephants, baboons, birds, and possibly tree-climbing lions.

   Stay overnight at a public campsite near Lake Manyara with dinner provided.

3. Day 3: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • Eat breakfast before departing Lake Manyara.

   • Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

   • Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of exceptional game viewing.

   • Spot the Big Five and other animals such as zebras and hippos.

   • Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch on the crater floor.

   • Ascend to a crater rim campsite for stunning views and dinner.

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Full Day at Leisure or Optional Activities

   • Spend the day relaxing at the campsite and soaking in panoramic views.

   • Optionally, visit a Maasai village to learn about local traditions (extra cost applies).

   • Optionally, take a nature walk around the lodge area if staying in Karatu.

   • Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the campsite.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro to Arusha

   • Have a hearty breakfast at the campsite.

   • Drive back to Arusha with scenic views along the way.

   • Arrive in Arusha and enjoy a hot lunch.

   • Conclude the safari adventure and get dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
