Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Central Serengeti

   • Begin the day with breakfast at your hotel in Arusha.

   • Meet your professional safari guide for a briefing and trip orientation.

   • Depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with scenic views and the chance to spot early wildlife.

   • Enter Serengeti National Park and embark on your first game drive in the Central Seronera Valley.

   • Explore one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, known for big cats, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and various antelopes.

2. Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

   • Return to the campsite for a hearty bush breakfast.

   • Continue game drives throughout the day, focusing on seasonal wildlife activity and the movements of the Great Migration (June typically sees herds heading to the western and northern corridors).

   • Break for a picnic lunch in a scenic location within the plains.

   • Resume afternoon game drives, exploring different ecosystems and expanding your sightings list.

   • Return to the campsite in the evening for a freshly prepared dinner.

   • Gather around the campfire to share stories and listen to the sounds of nocturnal wildlife.

3. Day 3: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

   • Begin the day with another early morning game drive to spot animals not yet seen.

   • Return to camp for breakfast.

   • Continue exploring the Serengeti on your way out of the central region, with game drives en route.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush during the journey.

   • Proceed toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the afternoon.

   • Arrive at the public campsite located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

   • Relax and take in views of the crater before enjoying dinner.

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

   • Begin with an early breakfast at the campsite.

   • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive (optional and dependent on itinerary).

   • Discover one of Africa's most wildlife-dense areas, home to black rhinos, lions, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras.

   • Enjoy your final bush picnic lunch within the conservation area.

   • Ascend from the crater and start the return journey to Arusha.

   • Reflect on your safari experience during the drive.

   • Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening.

   • End the tour with a drop-off at your hotel or the airport for your onward travel.
