1. Early Morning Pickup from Your Lodge in Seronera:

   • Pick-up Time: The day begins early, around 5:00 AM. A driver will pick you up from your lodge or camp in the Seronera area (the heart of the Serengeti).
   • Transfer to Launch Site: From there, you’ll be taken to the balloon launch site. This is a short transfer, typically around 15–30 minutes, depending on where you're staying.

   Hot Air Balloon Safari:

   • Inflation and Briefing: Upon arrival, you'll witness the balloon being inflated and receive a safety briefing from your pilot.
   • Flight Duration: The balloon ride usually lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on weather conditions and the wind.
   • Aerial Views of Serengeti: You’ll soar over the vast plains of the Serengeti, with a chance to spot wildlife like elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and lions. During the migration season (roughly July–October), you might even witness the spectacular Great Migration as thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the landscape.
   • Pilot’s Insight: The balloon pilot will offer commentary about the landscape, wildlife, and ecosystem as you drift across the park. The views from the air are unparalleled, and the serenity of the early morning sky adds to the magic.

   Post-Flight Celebration:

   • Landing & Toast: After landing, you’ll be treated to a celebratory glass of champagne or juice, along with a snack. This is a classic balloon safari tradition!
   • Certificate of Completion: Many operators provide a certificate to commemorate your experience.

   Game Drive After the Balloon Ride:

   • Safari Game Drive: After your balloon ride, you’ll embark on a game drive in the Serengeti. A guide will accompany you and help spot additional wildlife. This is a great time to search for predators or other animals you might have missed from the air.
   • Duration: The game drive typically lasts 2-3 hours, providing ample time to explore more of the Serengeti and view animals up close.

   Breakfast in the Serengeti:

   • Breakfast After Landing: Following the balloon ride and celebration, you'll enjoy a delicious bush breakfast in the Serengeti. This might include fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, pancakes, juice, and coffee. It’s usually served in the middle of the wilderness, adding to the adventure!

   Return to Seronera:

   • After breakfast and your game drive, you’ll be transferred back to your lodge in Seronera.
   • Arrival Time: You’ll typically return around late morning to early afternoon (around 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM), giving you a few hours to relax or enjoy other activities at your lodge.
