Embark on a 5-day safari adventure in the iconic Serengeti, beginning with your arrival in Arusha and a transfer to your lodge. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Transfer to Serengeti
- Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) near Arusha.
- Transfer to your chosen accommodation in or near Serengeti National Park.
- Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the area surrounding your camp or lodge.
Day 2: Central Serengeti Exploration
- Embark on a full-day game drive in the central Serengeti, known for its abundant wildlife.
- Look out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and the diverse herbivores that roam the plains.
- Consider a hot air balloon safari for a unique perspective of the Serengeti landscape.
Day 3: Following the Great Migration
- If the Great Migration is in the area, dedicate this day to witnessing the wildebeest herds.
- Observe the dramatic river crossings (if the migration is in the Mara River region).
- Enjoy the spectacle of millions of animals moving across the plains.
Day 4: Southern Serengeti or Northern Serengeti
- Depending on the time of year, explore either the southern or northern regions of the Serengeti.
- The south is known for the calving season (around February), while the north offers stunning landscapes and resident wildlife.
Day 5: Departure
- Enjoy a final morning game drive before transferring to the airstrip for your flight to your next destination.

The Great Migration: If you time your visit right, you'll witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the plains in search of grazing land

Vast Landscapes: The Serengeti's iconic "endless plains" are a sight to behold, with their sweeping grasslands, scattered acacia trees, and rocky outcrops (kopjes)

Game Drives: Most safaris in the Serengeti include game drives in open-top vehicles, allowing you to get up close and personal with the wildlife

Park Fees: Entrance fees to the Serengeti National Park are typically included in your safari package

What's Excluded

Flights: International and domestic flights to and from Tanzania are usually not included in safari packages

Visas: You'll need to obtain a Tanzanian visa before your trip

Personal Expenses: Things like souvenirs, drinks, and tips for your guides and staff are not typically included

Activities outside the Park: If you want to do activities outside the Serengeti, such as visiting a Maasai village or exploring other nearby parks, these will usually cost extra
