Day 1: Arusha to Mikumi National Park
- Early morning departure from Arusha. This will likely involve a flight to a nearby airstrip, followed by a drive to Mikumi. (Driving the entire way is possible but very long).
- Arrive at Mikumi National Park, check into your accommodation, and have lunch.
- Afternoon game drive in Mikumi. This park is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes. You might even spot lions!
- Overnight at a lodge or tented camp in or near Mikumi.

Day 2: Mikumi to Ruaha National Park
- Early morning game drive in Mikumi to catch animals while they are most active.
- After the game drive, transfer to Ruaha National Park. This will likely involve a flight as Ruaha is quite remote.
- Arrive in Ruaha, check into your accommodation, and have lunch.
- Afternoon game drive in Ruaha. This park is Tanzania's largest and is known for its large elephant herds, lions, wild dogs, and diverse landscapes.
- Overnight at a lodge or tented camp in or near Ruaha.

- Early morning game drive in Ruaha, focusing on areas you haven't explored yet.
- Enjoy the stunning scenery and abundant wildlife of Ruaha.
- After the game drive, transfer back to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha (or potentially to Dar es Salaam for onward travel).
