Day 1- Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Morning:
- 5:00–6:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam.
- Drive to Mikumi National Park (about 5–6 hours) via the Morogoro region.
- Optional stop for breakfast/snacks along the way.
Midday:
- Arrive at Mikumi National Park around 11:00 AM–12:00 PM.
- Begin a half-day game drive exploring the park.
Afternoon:
- Spot wildlife like elephants, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and lions.
- Visit the Mkata Floodplain, home to abundant game and predators.
- Enjoy a packed lunch or lunch at the lodge/camp.
Evening:
- Continue the game drive until late afternoon.
- Check-in at your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2- Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam
Morning:
- 6:00 AM: Early morning game drive to catch predators and other wildlife during their most active hours.
- Breakfast at the lodge or packed breakfast during the drive.
Late Morning:
- Visit the Hippo Pools to watch hippos and crocodiles.
- Optional cultural tour to the nearby Maasai village or local markets (if time allows).
Afternoon:
- Begin the drive back to Dar es Salaam after lunch.
- Arrive in the city by 6:00–7:00 PM.
