Itinerary

1. Day 1: Tarangire National Park

   • Drive from the hotel in Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park for two hours. This park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species return to the permanent waters of Tarangire River.

   • Spot the huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands, and oryx that gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of monsoon, when they migrate again to good grazing areas.

   • In the late afternoon, drive to Lake Manyara Region in a small town known as Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2: Serengeti National Park

   • Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge for 3 to 4 hours.

   • In the late evening, drive to Seronera campsite for overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • After breakfast, venture into the Serengeti's wilderness corners for a full day of game viewing in the park, with a picnic lunch.

   • Explore this world heritage site, where earth's largest concentration of plain game still roams free.

   • After having a picnic lunch, proceed with the game drive enroute driving towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

   • Go to the Simba campsite for rest, dinner, and overnight.

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

   • After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as the pride of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males.

   • Also, spot lots of colourful flamingos and a variety of water birds.

   • Other games include leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals.

   • Then, later afternoon, drive back to Moshi/Arusha.
