Full-Day Materuni Culture, Coffee, and Waterfalls Experience
- Depart from Moshi in the morning and drive approximately 30–40 minutes to Materuni Village, located in the lush foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Receive a warm welcome from a local Chagga guide who will introduce you to the village and outline the day’s activities.
Begin a scenic walk from the village towards Materuni Waterfall, a journey of approximately 30–40 minutes through tropical vegetation.
Admire the smaller waterfalls, natural springs, and intricate irrigation channels that sustain local agriculture.
Reach the 150-metre-high Materuni Waterfall and take time to enjoy the spectacular view and refreshing atmosphere.
Capture photographs of the dramatic cascade surrounded by verdant cliffs and rich flora.
Return to the village along the same path, observing more of the local landscape and agricultural practices.
Join a hands-on coffee tour led by local farmers who will share traditional coffee cultivation methods.
