The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in the Serengeti and First Game Drive

Morning: You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and transferred to Arusha Airport (ARK) for your flight to the Serengeti. This flight is a scenic experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the landscape below. Alternatively, you might choose to drive, which takes longer but offers a different perspective on the Tanzanian countryside.
Afternoon: Upon arrival at a Serengeti airstrip, usually Seronera in the central Serengeti, you'll be met by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge or camp. After settling in, it's time for your first game drive. The Serengeti is teeming with wildlife, and you'll have the chance to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, and many other animals.
Evening: Enjoy dinner at your lodge or camp, sharing stories of the day's sightings with fellow travelers. The sounds of the African bush provide a unique and unforgettable backdrop.

Day 02

Game Drives in the Heart of the Serengeti

Morning & Afternoon: These days are dedicated to morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti. Your experienced guide will use their knowledge of animal behavior and the terrain to maximize your wildlife-viewing opportunities.
Depending on the time of year, you might witness the Great Migration, a spectacular movement of millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles.
Even if the migration isn't in your immediate area, the resident wildlife of the Serengeti is always impressive.
Optional activities: Some lodges offer additional activities like guided walking safaris, usually shorter walks near the camp, or hot air balloon safaris, an incredible, albeit expensive, way to see the Serengeti from above. These are usually booked in advance and might incur extra costs.
Evening: Enjoy another delicious dinner and perhaps some stargazing. The Serengeti skies are often clear and filled with stars.

Day 03

Final Safari and Return to Arusha

Morning: Enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti, savoring your last moments in this incredible ecosystem. Perhaps you'll spot something you haven't seen yet.
Afternoon: You'll be transferred back to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha. Alternatively, if you drove in, you'll begin your drive back.
Evening: You'll arrive back in Arusha, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or another designated location.
