Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Arrival in Arusha

   • Meet the Tanzania safari guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport. 

   • Head to Arusha after clearing customs and immigration formalities.

   • Stay overnight and have a morning breakfast at the Impala Hotel.

2. Day 2 - Tarangire National Park Sightseeing

   • Have an early morning full and hearty breakfast.

   • Proceed to visit the famous Tarangire National Park.

   • Arrive in time for some scrumptious lunch. 

   • Go for game viewing in the afternoon and spot animals like lesser kudu, eland, lion, and gerenuk, while admiring the multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions.

   • Stay overnight and have dinner at the lodge or tented camp.

3. Day 3 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area Visit

   • Wake up for a hearty early morning breakfast.

   • Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation and have lunch at the lodge upon arrival.

   • Descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a day tour with picnic lunches. 

   • Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, then the lake area, to see the flamingos and the open savannahs where the lions hunt for food.

   • Stay overnight and have dinner at the lodge in Ngorongoro.

4. Day 4 - Serengeti National Park Tour

   • Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site renowned for archaeological discoveries.

   • Eat lunch at the lodge in Serengeti.

   • Head for an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti, getting a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.

   • Stay overnight and have dinner at the lodge.

5. Day 5 - Safari in Serengeti

   • Go for an indulging full-day game viewing in the Serengeti.

   • Book a hot air balloon safari and enjoy a magical floating journey, over the vast plains of the Serengeti (Optional)

   • Eat delicious meals and stay the night at the lodge in the Serengeti National Park.

6. Day 6 - Lake Manyara Sightseeing

   • Wake up early to enjoy an early morning game drive.

   • Return to the lodge for late breakfast.

   • Enjoy a mid-morning drive followed by departure to Ngorongoro Highlands.

   • Eat lunch at Gibbs Farm or similar.

   • Make an afternoon visit to the marvellous waterfalls.

   • Stay overnight and have dinner at the Manyara lodge

7. Day 7 - Depart to Kilimanjaro International Airport

   • Have an early morning hearty and full breakfast.

   • Go for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree-climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife.

   • Eat and enjoy lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel Lodge.

   • Drive back to Arusha and proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure in the evening.
