Itinerary
-
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
- You will be picked up from the lodge or airport and begin your wonderful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes.
- Upon arrival, you will go on a game drive through the park. Tarangire National Park is well known for its large herds of elephants and iconic giant baobab trees. The park offers a diverse landscape, ranging from seasonal swamps to savannas, with the Tarangire River flowing through the park. The river serves as the only source of water for wildlife during the dry season.
- You may have the opportunity to witness lions stalking their prey or leopards relaxing in trees above.
- After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at Escarpment de Luxury.
-
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
- After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park for an exciting game drive.
- You will enjoy lunch at a suitable location inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
- Serengeti National Park is famous for its great migration of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes. The park is also home to resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, which play an important role in the ecosystem.
- The great migration is the largest movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other herbivores, gathering together for the calving season. The best time to visit to observe wildebeest giving birth is from mid-December to early April every year.
- After the game drives, you will drive to the lodge, Suenos de Luxury, for dinner and an overnight stay.
-
Day 3: Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- You will wake up early for a fantastic game drive in Serengeti National Park.
- In the afternoon, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
- Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world. The area is also known for its population of approximately 30,000 large mammals, such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, along with a variety of bird species like flamingos, eagles, and buzzards.
- You will experience numerous wildlife sightings in a short period of time.
- After the game drive, you will drive to the accommodation at Hhando Coffee Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
-
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
- After breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The animals are more active during the morning hours, making it an ideal time for wildlife viewing.
- Inside the crater, you will have the opportunity to explore the spectacular landscape, relax in a unique environment, and spot all the Big Five animals, including lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos. You will also observe a variety of bird species, including flamingos at the crater lakes.
- After completing the game drive, you will be transported to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your air transfer, marking the end of your safari.
