Itinerary

1. Day 1: Airport to Arusha

   • The safari guide from our office in Arusha will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. 
   • You will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you will relax for the rest of the afternoon, enjoy your overnight at Njiro Legacy stay and prepare for the next day's adventure. 
   • You can explore the city with our guide at no additional fee. 

2. Day 2 : Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • You will be picked up from your lodge early in the morning to start the beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying foodhumper with hot lunch.
   • Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds. You will see a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna. All these while the Tarangire River winds its way through the parklands. 
   • You may see a lion stalking its prey and leopards relaxing in the trees above. 
   • Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight

3. Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

   • After breakfast, you depart for Lake Manyara National Park. The journey includes a game drive and carried lunch boxes. 
   • Once the game drive is complete, we will drive you back to the lodge to relax and stay overnight.
   • Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its arboreal lions, which hide among tree branches. You will also see numerous troops of baboons living in the forest, accompanying you along the road from the moment you enter the park.

4. Day 4: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a game drive and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park.
   • We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the lodge. You may spend the following day inside the park on game drives.
   • Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

5. Day 5: Serengeti National Park – A Day of Discovery

   • Rise early to the sounds of the wilderness awakening around you.
   • After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off for a full day of exploration, delving deeper into the park’s diverse habitats and uncovering the hidden gems of this extraordinary ecosystem.
   • Today’s adventure includes a morning game drive, where you’ll venture into less-traveled areas of the park. 
   • Here, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, including cheetahs lounging in the shade and hippos wallowing in the rivers. Your guide will share insights about the animals’ behaviors and the intricate balance of life in the Serengeti.
   • In the late morning, enjoy a guided walking safari, where you can connect more intimately with the landscape. 
   • Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you’ll learn to identify animal tracks, discover medicinal plants, and gain a deeper understanding of the ecosystem’s intricacies. This immersive experience allows you to appreciate the smaller details often overlooked from a vehicle.
   • After a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by nature, you’ll continue your exploration with an afternoon game drive. This is the perfect time to seek out more elusive creatures, such as leopards or the rare African wild dog. 
   • As the sun begins to dip toward the horizon, the golden light creates stunning backdrops for photography, enhancing your wildlife sightings.
   • As evening falls, gather around a cozy campfire for dinner under the stars. 
   • Share stories of the day’s adventures with fellow travelers and listen to the distant sounds of the Serengeti’s nightlife. 
   • This remarkable park will leave you with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for the wild heart of Africa.

6. Day 6: Game Drives in Ngorongoro Crater

   • After breakfast, you depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. 
   • Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.
   • The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area that constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. 
   • About 30000 large mammals are resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos), and a wide variety of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). So be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

7. Day 7: Transfer to Arusha Airport and Flight to Zanzibar

   • After breakfast, you can relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping before transferring to Arusha Airport. 
   • Your flight to Zanzibar will depart from Arusha Airport. 
   • Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Zanzibar Airport for your private transfer to your hotel in Stone town.

8. Day 8: Stone Town Tour and Transfer to Beach Hotel

   • After breakfast, we take a full-day Stone town tour with our local guide. 
   • Once we have completed the day's activities, we will transfer you to your beach hotel.
   • Admire the narrow streets lined with residential houses that preserve their original Swahili-Omani themes. 
   • Exquisitely carved doorways identify the themes with metal studs, overhanging balconies, and latticed windows. 
   • Side by side, you will see churches and mosques. The churches are due to the colonial presence in the country and the mosques commissioned by the sultans of Zanzibar. 
   • You will also visit other exciting destinations in the town.

9. Day 9: Relax on Zanzibar Beach and Resort

   • This day is for you to enjoy at your leisure in the tropical paradise of Zanzibar. 
   • Beach Relaxation: Spend your mornings lounging on pristine beaches, where the soft white sand meets the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Whether you prefer basking in the sun or taking refreshing dips in the sea, the tranquil atmosphere is perfect for unwinding.
   • Resort Amenities: Enjoy the luxurious amenities at your resort, which may include pools, spa treatments, and delicious dining options. Indulge in a spa day to rejuvenate your body and mind or savor fresh seafood and local dishes at on-site restaurants.

10. Day 10: Full Day Relaxation to the Resort

    • Beach Bliss: Start your mornings with the sun rising over stunning beaches, where you can unwind on soft white sands and listen to the gentle waves lapping at the shore. Enjoy the warmth of the sun or take a leisurely stroll along the coastline.
    • Resort Indulgence: Make the most of the exceptional facilities at your resort. Treat yourself to soothing spa treatments or lounge by the poolside, sipping on refreshing beverages. Delight in exquisite dining options that showcase fresh local cuisine and seafood.
    • Beach Discoveries: Venture out to explore some of Zanzibar's most captivating beaches, each with its own allure. Experience the vibrant colors of the coral reefs while snorkeling, or simply bask in the picturesque scenery as the sun sets over the horizon.
    • Optional Activities: For those looking for a bit more adventure, consider engaging in water sports or taking a guided tour to nearby islands. If you prefer a more laid-back experience, immerse yourself in a good book or enjoy the local culture with leisurely walks.

    These last two days (9&10) in Zanzibar are dedicated to relaxation and enjoyment, providing the perfect backdrop for recharging amidst breathtaking natural beauty.

11. Day 11: Transfer to Zanzibar International Airport

    • Enjoy the last few hours before you depart from the resort. 
    • We will pick you up at the resort and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport, where our service ends.
    • On the way back to Zanzibar International Airport, you can stop at Stone town to buy souvenirs.
