1. Day 1 : Airport Pickup and Transfer to Njiro Legacy

   • Upon your arrival at the airport, our friendly and professional guide will greet you with a warm welcome.
   • You’ll enjoy a comfortable transfer to Njiro Legacy, where you can relax and prepare for the exciting adventures ahead. During the journey, you’ll get a glimpse of the beautiful landscapes and vibrant culture that Arusha has to offer.
   • City Sightseeing Tour - Depending on arrival time you have an optional activity. Your excursion continues with a captivating city sightseeing tour designed to immerse you in the rich culture and history of Arusha. 
   • Local Markets: Dive into the bustling atmosphere of Arusha's local markets. Here, you'll have the chance to interact with vendors and locals, sample fresh produce, and discover unique handmade crafts. The vibrant colours and aromas of the market will surely leave a lasting impression.
   • Maasai Market: Next, we’ll visit the famous Maasai Market, where you can explore a wide variety of traditional Maasai crafts, jewellery, and textiles. 
   • Engage with local artisans and learn about their culture as you browse their stunning creations. This is the perfect place to pick up authentic souvenirs to take home.
   • Cultural Heritage Centre: Your journey continues to the Cultural Heritage Centre, a hub of art and culture showcasing the diverse heritage of Tanzania. 
   • Here, you can admire traditional artifacts, sculptures, and artworks that tell the stories of various Tanzanian tribes. Guided tours are available to provide deeper insights into the significance of the exhibits.
   • Arusha City Museum: Finally, conclude your city tour at the Arusha City Museum, where you can delve into the city’s history and development. The museum offers fascinating exhibits on the natural history, culture, and traditions of the region, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of Arusha's place in Tanzania's narrative.

2. Day 2 : Arusha to Tarangire

   • After breakfast, we will pick you up from your lodge/hotel and continue off the beaten track to Tarangire National park is a wildlife haven in northern Tanzania, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. 
   • Covering 2,850 square kilometres, the park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and over 550 species of birds, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. 
   • The Tarangire River, which flows year-round, attracts animals during the dry season, offering visitors spectacular opportunities to witness wildlife in a concentrated area. 
   • Its stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity make Tarangire a must-visit destination for any safari adventure.

3. Day 3: From Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

   • Start early and continue your journey to Serengeti. Serengeti National Park is one of the most renowned wildlife reserves in the world, located in northern Tanzania. 
   • Spanning over 14,750 square kilometers, it is famous for its vast, open plains and the Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move in search of fresh grazing grounds. 
   • The park is also home to the "Big Five" (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos) and offers unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing. 
   • Its diverse ecosystems include grasslands, savannahs, and riverine forests, making the Serengeti a symbol of Africa’s untamed wilderness.

4. Day 4: Exploring the Serengeti National Park

   • After an early breakfast, you’ll set out to immerse yourself in the wonders of Serengeti National Park, a premier wildlife destination in northern Tanzania. 
   • Known for its sprawling landscapes that cover over 14,750 square kilometers, the Serengeti is a haven for biodiversity and a symbol of Africa's untamed beauty.
   • Today’s adventure begins with a game drive across the park’s iconic plains, where you’ll have the chance to witness the incredible Great Migration in action.
   •  As over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the landscape in search of fresh pastures, you’ll be captivated by the sheer scale and drama of this natural phenomenon.
   • Throughout the day, keep your eyes peeled for the “Big Five”: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. The park’s diverse ecosystems, which include grasslands, savannahs, and riverine forests, provide a rich backdrop for observing these magnificent animals in their natural habitat.
   • As you navigate the varied terrain, you’ll have opportunities to stop and take in the breathtaking scenery, from the sweeping grasslands to the winding rivers teeming with wildlife. Each moment in the Serengeti presents a chance for discovery, with the chance to encounter herds of elephants or spot a stealthy leopard resting in a tree.
   • As the day winds down, you’ll return to your camp or lodge, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences and stunning sights from your second day in this incredible park. The Serengeti continues to unveil its secrets, leaving you eager for more adventures to come.

5. Day 5: Serengeti National Park – A Day of Discovery

   • On this day in the mesmerizing Serengeti National Park, rise early to the sounds of the wilderness awakening around you. 
   • After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off for a full day of exploration, delving deeper into the park’s diverse habitats and uncovering the hidden gems of this extraordinary ecosystem.
   • Today’s adventure includes a morning game drive, where you’ll venture into less-traveled areas of the park. 
   • Here, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, including cheetahs lounging in the shade and hippos wallowing in the rivers. Your guide will share insights about the animals’ behaviors and the intricate balance of life in the Serengeti.
   • In the late morning, enjoy a guided walking safari, where you can connect more intimately with the landscape. 
   • Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you’ll learn to identify animal tracks, discover medicinal plants, and gain a deeper understanding of the ecosystem’s intricacies. This immersive experience allows you to appreciate the smaller details often overlooked from a vehicle.
   • After a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by nature, you’ll continue your exploration with an afternoon game drive. This is the perfect time to seek out more elusive creatures, such as leopards or the rare African wild dog. 
   • As the sun begins to dip toward the horizon, the golden light creates stunning backdrops for photography, enhancing your wildlife sightings.
   • As evening falls, gather around a cozy campfire for dinner under the stars. 
   • Share stories of the day’s adventures with fellow travelers and listen to the distant sounds of the Serengeti’s nightlife. This day in this remarkable park will leave you with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for the wild heart of Africa.

6. Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

   • Enjoy another game drive in Serengeti National Park before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which was separated from Serengeti in 1959. 
   • The resident Maasai in Serengeti National Park were relocated to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where they still live today in harmony with wildlife and nature. 
   • Did you know that the Ngorongoro Conservation Area combines a large variety of topographical features and that there are nine different craters within its boundaries? Your guide will happily explain more about this outstanding destination of 8,292sq km. 
   • Proceed to your accommodation on top of the crater rim and enjoy a splendid view of the caldera before the night breaks with a sky full of stars or you can continue driving to your accommodation in Karatu.

7. Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi

   • After breakfast, drive along the crater rim to Seneto Gate on the western side and descends into the crater floor on an adventurous path—what an impressive view! 
   • The Ngorongoro Crater provides a home for a vast number of animals because of its reliable water availability. Animals frequently move in and out. 
   • The number of wildebeests and zebras increases during the dry season, whereas the numbers of elands, elephants and waterbucks increase during the wet season. 
   • Search for the ‘Big Five‘– buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and the black rhinoceros. 
   • The crater is one of the only two places in Tanzania where you can still observe the highly threatened black rhinoceros. 
   • After intensive game viewing, continue to Lake Eyasi for your overnight.

8. Day 8: Lake Eyasi to Materuni Waterfall

   • In the southwest corner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a soda lake that is fed by the Sibiti and Baray Rivers. 
   • Visiting Eyasi Lake is a different type of safari experience from those that you may be familiar with from your other Tanzania wilderness excursions with African Mecca. The region around Eyasi is the home of the Hadzabe and Datoga communities who continue their ancient lifestyle of hunting-gathering and pastoralism respectively. 
   • Visits to the villages give you a personal, intimate look into the daily life of these people. 
   • You may be impromptu invited into their homes, learn about the family structures, participate in traditional dances and bead making with the women, join the traditional small game hunting and gathering by the Hadzabe people, make bows and arrows, and much more. 
   • Early in the evening, drive to Arusha for your overnight stay.

9. Day 9: Materuni Waterfalls

   • Be immersed in Tanzania’s great outdoors on this full-day tour to Materuni and Kikuletwa. It is ideal for adventure, cultural and active travellers in the region. 
   • Start off on a hike to Materuni Waterfalls and enjoy a refreshing dip. 
   • Next, head to a local farm to learn more about Tanzania’s coffee industry before finally unwinding in the Kikuletwa Hot Springs.
   • After all that, you will be driven back to Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay.

10. Day 10: Drop Off at The Airport

    • As your unforgettable journey with us comes to an end, we want to ensure your final day is as smooth and enjoyable as the rest. 
    • At your preferred time, we will arrange your transfer to the airport, allowing you to relax and reflect on the incredible experiences you've had. 
    • Whether you want to do some last-minute shopping or simply enjoy the scenery one last time, we'll accommodate your schedule to make sure your departure is seamless and stress-free.
