Day 01
Napuru Waterfalls Nature Walk and Cultural Day Trip
- Begin your day with a morning pick-up from your hotel or lodge in Arusha, followed by a short briefing from your guide.
- Drive towards Napuru Waterfalls, a journey of approximately 30-40 minutes, enjoying views of local villages, farms, and the scenic surroundings of Mount Meru.
- Upon arrival, complete registration and meet a local guide who will introduce the history and natural environment of the area.
- Start a guided nature walk through green landscapes and forest trails leading to the waterfalls.
- Observe various bird species, indigenous plants, and scenic views of the surrounding hills during the 30-45 minute hike.
- Arrive at Napuru Waterfalls and spend time relaxing, taking photographs, and enjoying the peaceful natural setting.
- Relax near the natural pool and enjoy the sound of flowing water, with optional swimming if conditions allow.
- Take a break for a picnic lunch in a shaded area near the river or in a peaceful natural spot.
- After lunch, choose to participate in optional activities such as ziplining, mountain biking, archery, or additional short hikes, depending on your interest.
- Begin the return walk through the same scenic trail back to the parking area.
- Drive back to Arusha and be dropped off at your hotel or lodge, marking the end of your day trip.
