Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam and Transfer to Tanga

   • Begin the journey north along the coastal highway towards Tanga, passing coastal villages, coconut plantations, and scenic views of the Indian Ocean.

   • Stop for lunch along the way before continuing to Tanga, a historic coastal town known for its Swahili culture and quiet charm.

   • Check in at your lodge and relax for the evening.

2. Day 2: Transfer to Mkomazi National Park and Afternoon Game Drive

   • Depart after breakfast and travel to Mkomazi National Park, known for its unspoiled wilderness and successful wildlife conservation programmes.

   • Arrive in time for lunch before beginning an afternoon game drive across the park’s vast savannah plains.

   • Look out for wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, oryx, eland, hartebeest, and various predators.

   • Learn about conservation efforts protecting endangered black rhinos and African wild dogs within the park.

3. Day 3: Full Day Game Viewing in Mkomazi
