Arusha to Serengeti via Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro
Arrive at the airport and meet your host, who will also be your driver-guide. You will then be transferred to Serengeti National Park for a game drive, with a lunch box included. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours.
On the way to the great Serengeti, the route itself is beautiful, with nature forming part and parcel of the experience. Before reaching your destination, you will enjoy closer views of Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater, as the journey passes through these remarkable attractions, making the drive rich in natural scenery throughout.
Serengeti is famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, which moves around the park from May to July each year, as well as for the vast number of species that reside in the park year-round. The concentration of predators in the Serengeti is high, with large prides of lions, numerous hyena clans, and regular sightings of cheetahs and leopards. Elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and antelope can be found feeding on the rich plains, along with lesser-known species such as aardwolf, mongoose, caracal, servals, and hyrax.
At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to Serengeti Pure Tented Camp for dinner and your overnight stay on a full-board basis.
