Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Depart from your hotel in Arusha and begin your safari with a scenic drive of approximately two hours and forty five minutes to Tarangire National Park.
   • Carry a packed lunch to enjoy during your journey.
   • Explore Tarangire National Park, established in 1970 and named after the Tarangire River, covering 2,850 square kilometres.
   • Observe large elephant herds, lions, monkeys, pythons, and over 550 bird species within this diverse ecosystem.
   • Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the wildlife rich landscapes.

2. Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

   • Depart after breakfast for Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro highlands.
   • Admire breathtaking views of rolling hills and the Rift Valley before descending onto the vast Serengeti plains.
   • Enjoy your first game drive in the Serengeti, home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras.

3. Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

   • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon safari within the massive volcanic caldera.

6. Day 6: Mto wa Mbu to Lake Natron

   • Travel towards Lake Natron, a unique soda and salt lake near the Kenyan border.

7. Day 7: Mto wa Mbu to Departure
