The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Tanzania and Transfer to Arusha

You're welcome in Tanzania! Your Superior African Safari tour guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro Airport and drive you to Planet Lodges Arusha. You will spend the rest of the day at your leisure and do as you like in Arusha.
This private safari is distinctive. In addition to receiving professional guidance from a private travel advisor, you will have total control over the itinerary. Whether you enjoy getting up early or not, discuss your plans with your guide on the first day.
The following morning will mark the start of your Tanzania safari.

Day 02

Ngorongoro Crater Safari Experience

On the second day of your safari in Tanzania, rise early and depart from Arusha for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the ride as the route passes across the Great Rift Valley, through the crater forest, and finally to the impressive Ngorongoro Crater, your destination.
It's easy to understand why this extinct volcano is one of Tanzania's most popular tourist sites. The crater, one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders, is teeming with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and even the endangered black rhino. It also has Africa's largest concentration of species.
See nature at its best as you explore this distinctive environment from the safety and comfort of your own private safari vehicle.
In addition to game drives, Tanzania's Ngorongoro Conservation Area provides a wide range of must-do experiences, such as visiting a Maasai village and viewing the Laetoli Footprint, thought to be the oldest known set of early human footprints at about 3.6 million years old.
After all the activities, you will go to rest at Endoro Lodge, where you will have dinner and sleep while waiting for the next adventure.

Day 03

Tarangire National Park Game Viewing

Start the day with a delicious breakfast as the sun comes up. After a fun day exploring Ngorongoro Crater, continue your Tanzanian adventure to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. This national park has fewer people, so you can see beautiful herds of elephants wandering peacefully among the famous baobab trees.
The world's largest population of wild elephants lives in Tarangire National Park, making it the best place to see elephants. You may spot herds of up to 300 elephants drinking from the shallow waters of the Tarangire River or cooling off in the mud.
Alongside elephants, bird enthusiasts will be pleased to know that Tarangire is also a haven for various bird species.
Additionally, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and tree-climbing snakes can be spotted in and around the marshes.
After a thrilling day on safari, unwind at Tarangire Safari Lodge, located in one of Tarangire's most picturesque areas and offering breathtaking views of the savannah.

Day 04

Final Game Drive and Transfer to Arusha Airport

Take advantage of your final morning on your Tanzania safari by going on a grand finale game drive following a delightful evening filled with delectable cuisine and a mesmerizing sunset.
Depending on your flight time, your private driver will later pick you up from Tarangire Safari Lodge and drive you to Arusha Airport.
