Embark on a 3-day camping safari in Tanzania, exploring Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. This version of the safari focuses on a more adventurous, budget-friendly experience where you will camp in the parks and enjoy the African wilderness up close.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
- Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha around 7:00 AM after breakfast. Drive to Tarangire National Park: A 2.5-3-hour drive from Arusha (about 120 km) through scenic landscapes, offering great views of the Rift Valley. Arrival at Tarangire: The park is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning baobab trees.
- Begin your game drive upon arrival and start exploring the park’s wildlife. You’ll likely see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and various bird species. After the game drive, head to a designated campsite inside the park.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
- Early breakfast at camp. Depart for Serengeti National Park: After breakfast, drive to Serengeti, about 4-5 hours from Tarangire.
- Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the vast savannah landscape, and make stops for photos. Serengeti is one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations, known for its Great Migration (if you are visiting during migration season) and abundant predators.
- Enjoy a packed lunch.
Day 3: Serengeti - Arusha
- Early Morning Sunrise game drive after Breakfast at camp, game driving in Serengeti, which is especially rewarding at dawn when animals are more active. This is also an excellent time to witness the predators hunting or spotting early morning migrations.
- After lunch, continue your exploration of Serengeti before starting your drive back to Arusha.
- Arrive in Arusha: You will be dropped off at the airport, completing your 3-day camping safari.
