The itinerary

Day 01

Arusha to Tarangire National Park Safari

Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha around 7:00 AM after breakfast. Drive to Tarangire National Park, a 2.5-3-hour journey from Arusha (about 120 km) through scenic landscapes with great views of the Rift Valley. Upon arrival, discover a park famous for its large elephant herds and stunning baobab trees.
Begin your game drive on arrival and start exploring the park's wildlife. You are likely to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and various bird species. After the game drive, head to a designated campsite inside the park.

Day 02

Journey to Serengeti National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast at camp before departing for Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, drive to Serengeti, about 4-5 hours from Tarangire.
Along the way, take in breathtaking views of the vast savannah landscape and make stops for photos. Serengeti is one of the world's most famous wildlife destinations, known for the Great Migration if you are visiting during migration season, as well as its abundant predators.
Enjoy a packed lunch.

Day 03

Sunrise Game Drive and Return to Arusha

Set out on an early morning sunrise game drive after breakfast at camp. Game driving in Serengeti is especially rewarding at dawn, when animals are more active. This is also an excellent time to witness predators hunting or spot early morning migrations.
After lunch, continue your exploration of Serengeti before starting your drive back to Arusha.
Arrive in Arusha, where you will be dropped off at the airport, completing your 3-day camping safari.
