Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater

   • Start the tour with lunch in Arusha town at 12:30 pm.

   • Start your drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area at 2 pm.

   Rest for the night, alongside dinner, at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro to Serengeti

   • Embark on a descent of 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a half-day crater tour.

   • Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, alongside the lake area, where you may see the flamingos.

   • Take a detour to the open savannah, where the lions hunt for food.

   • Lunch like an animal, after a good game, at the designated lodge.

   • Take an afternoon drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, where further sightings of animals would be common.

   Opt for a well-deserved rest after an intense day at the Serengeti Serena Lodge.

3. Day 3: Serengeti to Lake Manyara

   • Enjoy a morning game viewing in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, followed by lion prides lounging in the shade.

   • Return to your lodge for lunch before departing to Lake Manyara. 

   Head in for dinner and stay at the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

4. Day 4: Back to Arusha

   • Depart for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree-climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife.

   • Drive back to Arusha for lunch at a renowned restaurant in town.
