This package can be budget, mid-range or luxury, depending on your choice of accommodation and budget for the trip. On the 4-day Safari in Tanzania to Serengeti & Ngorongoro, you are going to explore the wildlife of North Tanzania in its three most famous National Parks. Serengeti National Park is the largest and is famous for over a million wildebeest migrating alongside over 250000 zebras. The Ngorongoro Crater is the highlight park with its beautiful landscapes & surreal view of the crater, and it is easier to see animals as they are in the crater's floor. The Tarangire National Park is like a smaller Serengeti but is famous for a large number of elephants.
Itinerary
-
Arusha to Serengeti National park
Pick up at 6:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha and proceed towards Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Full Day in Serengeti National park
Today you will have a full day game drive in Serengeti with chances to see predators chasing their prey and enjoying their kill. Serengeti is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value. You will have a game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti with a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy an early breakfast and meet your guide to have a last morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an en-route game drive and picnic lunch. Ngorongoro is a special conservation area and not a national park. The whole area is managed for both animals and local Maasai people, who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the crater and enjoy a 5-hour game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhinos.
Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a wide variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big drawcard to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
Late afternoon, drive back to Arusha and drop off at your hotel.
