About me
It will be a delight to show you the Tarogo National Park through the eyes of a native! I will show you the places only the locals know, as well as much-loved favorites. My name is David Chiu. I was born and raised in an aboriginal village in Hualien. I was graduated from Soochow University in Taipei. My studies of the English language and literature provide a unique lens through which I expose Hualien city and Tarogo's rich history. I have traveled extensively throughout Taiwan and returned home each time with a renewed sense of what a rare and beautiful place Hualien is. I received my English-speaking tour-guide license in 2006 and in the ensuing years of experience have shared my native city with about one thousand more international visitors.
