Day 1: Konye-Urgench and Darvaza Gas Crater
- Meet your Turkmen guide at the Dashoguz border and complete customs formalities
- Drive to Konye-Urgench (approx. 105 km) and explore the UNESCO World Heritage site, including mausoleums, minarets, and ancient city ruins, while learning about its history and resistance against Genghis Khan
- Continue through the Karakum Desert to the Darvaza Gas Crater (approx. 4 hours)
- Arrive at Darvaza, admire the “Gates of Hell,” and enjoy a traditional dinner gazanlama near the glowing crater
