Description

Visit the Husky Farm, where you will get acquainted with the breed of these sledge dogs. Take some time to familiarise yourself with them, then set out on a sleigh ride in the wilderness. Also, meet the reindeers at the farm and sit by the campfire to learn more about the indigenous Sami people.

    • Explore the Husky farm with your Murmansk (Russian) guide. Get acquainted with the Husky breed, know the story about the peculiarities of breeding and caring for these endearing dogs. 

    • Play games with the huskies.

    • Then go for a thrilling dog sleigh ride and have lunch.

    02:00 pm – 05:00 pm 

    • Head to the Sami settlement to observe Sami sacred stone. Hear stories about the Sami culture, customs, beliefs by the campfire. 

    • Get acquainted with the reindeers. Gain information about the features of their breeding, lifestyle, habits and take selfies with them. 

    • Sip Sami tea made of local forest herbs and roots, and eat northern cowberry pie. 

    • Have a photo session in traditional Sami clothes before departing for the city of Murmansk.
