What to bring

We recommend being prepared for all weather conditions to stay warm or keep cool. This means having lots of layers! Start with a breathable synthetic shirt to layer under a vest, windbreaker, or jacket and avoid cotton fabrics while exercising – the absorbent qualities prevent wicking and insulate poorly when wet. For colder days we recommend also wool clothing.

  • Bike shorts
  • Cycling jerseys
  • Active socks
  • Biking gloves
  • Clip-in Pedals (if preferred over flat pedals)
  • Cycling or athletic shoes (to clip in or for flat pedals)
  • Lightweight Jacket
  • Arm/Leg Warmers
  • Sunglasses
  • Wind/Rain Jacket
  • Lightweight headband or hat
  • Camelback/hydration pack (Mountain Bike Only)
  • Helmet (or use ours)
  • Saddle (or use ours)
Know before you go
  • GT, Cannondale or Trek XC bicycles are available on this tour.
  • You may choose to bring your own seat, pedals, bottles and/or other accessories; we will change out seats and pedals for you. While a helmet will be provided, we recommend that for safety and hygiene reasons you bring your own or plan to purchase one upon arrival.
