Itinerary

1. Day 1: Bucharest – Curtea de Argeș – Cozia – Sibiu

   • Pickup from your hotel in Bucharest in the morning.

   • Visit Curtea de Argeș Monastery, built in 1514 by Neagoe Basarab, and learn about its architectural and historical significance.

   • Explore Cozia Monastery, constructed between 1386 and 1388 by Mircea cel Bătrân.

   • Enjoy lunch at a traditional Romanian restaurant along the route.

   • Continue to Sibiu, a German medieval citadel first documented in 1191 and also known as Hermannstadt.

   • Take a walking tour of Sibiu’s old town, visiting historic squares, medieval streets, and local landmarks.

   Overnight stay in Sibiu.

2. Day 2: Sibiu – Biertan – Sighisoara – Brasov

   • After breakfast, visit Biertan Fortified Church, built between 1490 and 1524, and explore its defensive structures and historic interiors.

   • Continue to Sighisoara, a UNESCO World Heritage site first documented in 1280, known as Schassburg in German.

   • Take a walking tour including the iconic Clock Tower and medieval streets.

   • Enjoy lunch in Sighisoara at a local traditional restaurant.

   • Drive to Brasov, first documented in 1235 and also called Kronstadt, and take a walking tour of the historic center, including major squares and old town streets.

   Overnight stay in Brasov.

3. Day 3: Brasov – Bran – Sinaia – Bucharest

   • Visit Brasov’s Black Church, constructed in 1383, and admire its Gothic architecture.

   • Head to Bran Castle, often associated with the Dracula legend, and explore its history and exhibits.

   • Enjoy a traditional Romanian lunch near Bran.

   • Continue to Sinaia to visit Peles Castle (1875–1914), the summer residence of King Carol I, and explore its elegant architecture and interiors.

   • Visit Sinaia Monastery, an important spiritual site in the region.

   • Return to Bucharest to conclude the tour.
