Sintra & Cascais
- Start this tour at 08:30 a.m. Your Portugal tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and will lead you to a Full-Day Tour beginning in the charming village of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
- Visit Pena Palace, one of the finest tourist attractions of Portugal and a magnificent example of the Portuguese 19th century Romanticism style of architecture.
- Head to the historic village center, where you can enjoy Sintra’s stunning mountain landscapes, have free time to appreciate the medieval streets and taste the deliciously sweet pastries.
- After lunch, visit Sintra’s National Palace, located in the village centre. The most notable exterior feature is the two massive chimneys, which have become the icon of Sintra.
- Go to the most westerly point of continental Europe, Roca Cape (depending on weather conditions, we may have to replace this visit with “Boca do Inferno”, an impressive cliff near Cascais).
- Proceed to Cascais. This place used to be the summer residence of the Portuguese royal family and has a beautiful coastline of glorious sandy beaches.
- On our way returning to Lisbon, you will enjoy a panoramic view over Estoril, famous for its casino stunning gardens and beautiful coastline.
- Drop-off at your hotel (around 06:00 pm).
