the azores have been populated by the portuguese since the xv century, but it was never a paradise as we know it nowadays.the people have gone through many different hardships with nature, being volcanic islands on the middle of the north atlantic located in between different major faults, you can imagine all the seismic, volcanological and weather activity that has made us endure throughout time.

wildscape azores mission is to share the azores destination from a local perspective, highlighting the traditions and customs of the people of são miguel, the historical events that have occurred since the 15th century that can be interpreted along the routes, and celebrating the variety of the azores' unique ecosystem.this is done while maintaining sustainability, nature preservation, and humanity as fundamental values ​​in the development of our actions.

on the island of são miguel, we offer land-based tourist routes in vans with up to nine seats, in three different types of options: mystic tour, majestic north and west coast.
