Embark on this Kumrat to Laspur adventure, a lifetime experience of the combination of an adventure trek, wildlife, and traditional culture. Witness exceptional natural beauty, glaciers, mountains, lakes, flora, and fauna and enjoy camping at Shahzore lake, Thallo pass, Zhoki Lake, Bashqar Gol Lake, and Laspur. Visit the colourful culture of the indigenous Kalash communities before concluding the trip.

Itinerary

Day 1- Islamabad Arrival
- Arrive at Islamabad and stay there overnight.
Day 2- Islamabad Market
- Going around the Islamabad market to buy things and make preparation for the trip.
Day 3- Kumrat Vallet
- Travelling to Kumrat valley and staying there overnight.
Day 4- Thallo Pass
- Trekking to a campsite near a lake below the Thallo Pass.
Day 5- Thallo Pass Camping
- Trekking up to Thallo pass for camping overnight. Here you will have a fantastic view of the glaciers.
Day 6- Zhoki Lake
- Trekking to Zhoki lake and camping there. It is an exceptionally beautiful lake surrounded by glaciers. The sunrise is amazing here.
Day 7- Bashqar Lake
- Trekking down to Bashqar Gol Lake and camping in the forest of dense Himalayan birch. The sunset and sunrise present beautiful scenes here.
- On route, you will come across wildlife, waterfalls, and roaring streams. Yak herders tend their cattle here.
Day 8- Bashqar Gol to Sur Laspur
- Bashqar Gol to Sur Laspur, overnight here. The route is stony but beautiful. You have to ford through icy cold streams at two places. In this area, wolves, brown bears, foxes, and other wildlife are found.
Day 9- Laspur - Booni
- Hire a jeep from Laspur to travel down to Booni, the headquarter of district Upper Chitral overnight. Here you will stay in traditional guesthouses and have a look at traditional culture and village life.
Day 10- Chitral Town
- Drive to Chitral town for an overnight, visit Thoshi game reserve and Chitral fort, and stroll around the Chitral market to buy souvenirs.
Day 11- Bumborate
- Travel to Bumborate for an overnight. See the Kalasha Madokjal, traditional villages, Kalash Dur, the Kalasha Cultural Museum, and the overall Kalasha way of life.
Day 12- Bumborate - Chitral
- Visiting different villages in Bumborate, meeting Kalasha people, taking pictures, and returning to Chitral town for an overnight.
Day 13- Islamabad
- Leave for Islamabad via Lowari and Swat Tunnel, overnight in Islamabad.
Day 14- Islamabad Sightseeing
- Visiting Markets in Islamabad, Islamabad Museum, and other historical places in the capital.
Overnight Islamabad.
Day 15- Departure
- Shift to the airport and fly back to your home country.
