Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Pakistan

   • Pickup from the airport and drive to the hotel. If time allows, visit Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

   Dinner and overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Islamabad to Naran or Fly to Gilgit

   • Drive to Islamabad International Airport and take a scenic 45-minute flight to Gilgit.

   • If the flight is canceled due to weather, we will drive to Naran.

   • If the flight is not canceled, drive to Shimshal Valley.

   • Lunch en route.

   • Arrive at Naran for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Naran to Hunza Valley

   • Breakfast and drive to Hunza Valley via Lulusar Lake, Babusar Pass, and the Karakoram Highway.

   • Stop at the World’s Three Mountain Junction Point.

   • Arrive at Gilgit for lunch, then drive to Hunza Valley.

   • Stop at the Old Silk Route viewpoint and Rakaposhi viewpoint.

   • Arrive at Hunza Valley for dinner and overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Hunza Valley Excursion

   • Breakfast and short hike to the 800-year-old Baltit Fort.

   • Guided tour of the fort, followed by time for taking photos.

   • Drive to the 1000-year-old Altit Fort for another guided tour.

   • Lunch and drive to Duikar Top for stunning views of the Karakoram Range and Hunza Nagar.

   • Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

5. Day 5: Hunza to Shimshal Valley

   • Breakfast and jeep drive to Shimshal Valley.

   • Stop at Passu Cones and Passu Glacier viewpoint.

   • Continue the drive to Shimshal Valley, stopping at Dastgil Sar Peak viewpoint (7880m).

   • Arrive at Shimshal Valley for lunch and free time.

   Dinner and overnight stay.

6. Day 6: Shimshal Valley Trek to Gharsar

   • Breakfast and start the trek towards Shimshal Pass.

   • Lunch at Korband.

   Arrive at Gharsar for dinner and overnight stay.

7. Day 7: Gharsar to Peryan Sar

   • Breakfast and enjoy the trek towards Shimshal Pass.

   • Stop for lunch at Voch Furzin. After lunch, arrive at the campsite.

   Dinner and overnight stay at Peryan Sar.

8. Day 8: Peryan Sar to Shimshal Pass

   • Breakfast and trek towards Shujerab, the first settlement in old Shimshal Valley.

   • Lunch at Volyo Dasht.

   • Arrive at Shimshal Pass for dinner and overnight stay.

9. Day 9: Rest and Walk Around the Lakes

   • Rest day at Shimshal Pass with time to walk around the lake and pasture.

   • Lunch and trek to Mingliksar Peak high camp.

   Dinner and overnight stay.

10. Day 10: Summit Day

    • Wake up at 1:00 AM, have breakfast, and begin the climb to the summit.

    • Summit and trek back to base camp.

    • Celebration lunch and rest.

    Dinner and overnight stay.

11. Day 11: Shimshal Pass to Peryan Sar

    • Breakfast and trek back to Peryan Sar.

    • Lunch en route.

    • Arrive at Peryan Sar for dinner and overnight stay.

12. Day 12: Peryan Sar to Gharsar

    • Breakfast and trek back to Gharsar.

    • Lunch at Past Furzin.

    • Arrive at Gharsar for dinner and overnight stay.

13. Day 13: Gharsar to Shimshal Valley and Drive to Hunza

    • Breakfast and trek back to Shimshal Valley.

    • Arrive at Shimshal for lunch, then drive to Hunza Valley.

    • Arrive at Hunza Valley for dinner and overnight stay.

14. Day 14: Hunza Valley to Gilgit

    • Breakfast and visit Baltit and Altit Forts in Hunza Valley.

    • Lunch and drive to Gilgit.

    • Arrive at Gilgit for dinner and overnight stay.

15. Day 15: Gilgit to Naran

    • Breakfast and drive back to Naran.

    • Lunch en route.

    • Arrive at Naran for dinner and overnight stay.

16. Day 16: Naran to Islamabad and Departure

    • Breakfast and drive back to Islamabad.

    • Lunch en route with a visit to Taxila Gandhara remains.

    • Arrive in Islamabad for dinner and overnight stay.

    • Drop off at the airport based on flight timing.

    • Fly back to your home destination.
