Day 01: Arequipa - Chivay - Colca Canyon expand_more
- Get picked up between 03:00 to 3:30 a.m. and start the trip to the town of Chivay.
- In Chivay, we will have breakfast, and then we will continue to the Cruz del Condor to see the fabulous flight of the Condors for one hour.
- Then, at 10:00 a.m we will continue the trip to Cabanaconde. We begin our journey at 3280 m.a.s.l.
- After three and a half hours of walking, we arrive at the first community of San Juan de Chuccho 2,300 m.a.s.l., descending 1000 meters approximately, where the Colca river runs along the Colca river we will visit the surroundings of the place.
- After a refreshing rest, we will have dinner and spend the night in bungalows.

Day 02: Colca Trek - Arequipa expand_more
- We will wake up at 05:00 am, previously coordinated with the guide to start the hike up to the village of Cabanaconde 3 hours approximately, breakfast in Cabanaconde.
- Then, we go to the district of Chivay, the most important town along the valley, and from there, we will go to the thermal medicinal baths of La Calera, where we can enjoy its relaxing waters.
- After an estimated time, we will return to Chivay. We will have lunch at the time previously coordinated with the group, and after a few minutes of rest, we will return to the city of Arequipa.
- On the way, we will have the opportunity to visit the Mirador De Los Andes (4910 m.a.s.l.) and the Salinas National Reserve, and Aguada Blanca.
- Arrive in the city of Arequipa at approximately 06.00 pm.

What to bring
- Bring warm layers for the early morning transport, as the route to the canyon reaches altitudes of almost 5000 meters above sea level and temperatures can be freezing.

- Tips for the guides are not included.
- This hike is not easy, some say it is more difficult than Machu Picchu.
- For people who get tired during the hike, it is possible to hire mules.
