Description
Explore the second deepest canyon in the world, the Colca Canyon, on an overnight trip from Arequipa. Pass through remote Peruvian villages, see large volcanoes and herds of vicuñas at Salinas National Reserve, and visit the thermal baths of La Calera. Also, watch the giant Andean condor soar overhead in the Mirador De La Cruz Del Condor and look for the pre-Inca tombs and the beautiful landscape of Colca Valley.

Day 01: Arequipa - Colca expand_more
- Depart from Arequipa at 8:00 a.m. heading for the road via Yura and pass the Chachani volcano.
- Pass through the Salinas National Reserve and Aguada Blanca and stop for 10 minutes, where passengers can appreciate the vicuñas that are in their natural environment.
- We will have a second stop to enjoy coca tea and not be affected by the height as we will be at 3800 meters above sea level. Continue climbing up to 4800 meters above sea level and visit the viewpoint of the volcanoes.
- After the spectacular view, we will begin the descent to the town of Chivay, where we will arrive after approximately 45 minutes.
- At 3:00 p.m. to take you to visit the thermal baths of La Calera, a place where you can enjoy the thermal pools.
- After the agreed time, return to the hotel.
- In the evening, you will enjoy a folkloric show and a typical dinner.
- After the show, we will drop you off at your respective hotel, which is the end of our itinerary for the day.

Day 02: Visit to the Colca - Return to Arequipa expand_more
- After breakfast at 5:30 am, we will start our trip to the Colca Canyon, where the Mirador De La Cruz Del Condor is located, a place to observe the spectacular Flight of Condor.
- On the way back, we will visit the viewpoints of Antahuilque and choquetico, from where we will be able to observe the pre-Inca tombs and models and the beautiful landscape of the Colca Valley with its impressive terraces.
- At midday, we will arrive in Chivay, and after lunch, we will return to the city of Arequipa, arriving at 5:00 pm approx.
