    • Meet your Huascaran National Park tour guide at the agreed-upon location in Huaraz and begin the tour at 9 am. You will be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle.

    • Head in the north direction to Llanganuco Lakes, which are located between the mountains of Huascaran and Huandoy.

    • Pass by several typical villages appreciating the beautiful white mountains of Huandoy, Huascaran, Hualcan, Copa and others. You can make a photo stop from the various viewing points on the way.

    • Continue to Carhuaz (2650masl).

    • Learn about Yungay, the buried city that holds history. A 7-degree earthquake caused an avalanche of mud and ice and in 6 seconds destroyed Yungay province. A guided visit will take you around one hour.

    • Start ascending the dusty road up to Llanganuco Lakes.

    • Visit the Orconcocha and Chinacocha Lakes and enjoy bird watching.
