About me
I was born in Cusco.I studied to become a Tour Guide and I worked as a Guest Lecturer on the Inkas for 4 years at the University of Nottingham in England (1[sensitive content]).I lived in the USA for 5 years (1[sensitive content]), lecturing on the Inkas, teaching Salsa dancing and researching on the native Americans of the Southwest.I published a book in English and Spanish on Inkan Philosophy and History, doing a new revision on it to explain the Inka Culture from a native point of view, the book is titled "When the Stones Speak: Inka Architecture and Spirituality in the Andes".I also produced a TV documentary titled "Saqsa Uma: Temple of Fertility" where it is shown how inkas shape and transported heavy stones, plus an explanation of why they did it and their spritual values as a society.Both, the book and the documentary, won the award of History and Philosophy in the First Intercontinental Biennial of Indigenous Arts and Culture, done in Quito,Ecuador 2006.Today I am guiding around Cusco, work as a Tour Leader and give conferences national and internationally.
