Description
Pastoruri Glacier and the gigant plants of puya Raimondy are the most wonderful attraction of the route and preffered by lost of tourists, before Pastoruri was a huge snow flat are for international competion of snowboarding and ski.
Itinerary

Pastoruri full day tour
- Breakfast in the morning at the hotel, depart at 8 AM, driving south towards Huaraz, passing Recuay at 3,300 meters above sea level, Ticapampa at 3,400 meters above sea level, and Catac at 3,500 meters above sea level.
 - Continue to Pachacuti on an unpaved road with a wonderful landscape of highlands full of straw and cold winds, traditionally inhabited by sheep herders.
 - After 15 km, stop at the small lake Pumacocha for birdwatching, where you can see wild ducks, Andean geese, caracara birds, and others.
 - Next stop at the gasified water stream to drink the drinkable gasified water.
 - Continue to the next stop at the enormous flowers of Puya Raimondi and the color-changing small lake at Pumapampa, created by the effect of sunlight and the minerals contained in the rocky water.
 - Continue to the petroglyph paintings; after approximately 10 minutes, arrive at the Pastoruri parking area.
 - Walk about 1 km, making it easy to hike or horseback ride to reach the snow-capped mountain of Pastoruri.
 - Once here, you will enjoy walking around and visiting the Ice Lake and Ice Cave.
 - After a few hours of staying in Pastoruri, return the same way and drive directly to Huaraz, arriving around 6 PM.
