Day 01

Hike the Inca Quarry Trail to Cachicata Quarries

Pick up from your hotel by the tour guide and travel to the city of Ollantaytambo.
Ascend the trail and witness panoramas of the Sacred Valley and massive mountains, opening up into an amazing bird's-eye view.
Observe the paths while trekking, where the stones were moved, along with several blocks that remained unfinished.
See the "Chullpas," or small tomb constructions that were built for the purpose of housing mummies.
Take some rest and enjoy a delicious packed lunch.
Enjoy the scenic view from the top of the Cachicata Quarries.
Begin the descent to Ollantaytambo. Transfer to the imperial city of Cusco or stay overnight in Ollantaytambo.
