Description
Embark on a full-day journey to the heart of Andean spirituality and tradition. This tour is designed for travelers who want to go beyond the surface and understand the ancient soul of Lake Titicaca. We begin our adventure at the Uros Floating Islands, where you will learn how the totora reed is used to build everything from homes to boats. This is a rare look into a lifestyle that has defied centuries. Following this, we navigate to Taquile Island, a place where time seems to have stopped. Unlike other destinations, Taquile is famous for its 'Men Who Knit' and its vibrant textile traditions, recognized by UNESCO. We will hike up the island's gentle paths to witness breathtaking views of the lake and the Cordillera Real, followed by a traditional lunch prepared by residents. This is not just a tour; it is an immersion into the high-altitude life of the Andes.
