Day 1: Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Santa Maria – Huancacalle – Pillaupata – Chupana Camp

Drive through Ollantaytambo, Santa Maria, and remote Andean villages toward Huancacalle.
Arrive in Huancacalle at 3,123 meters and meet the horsemen.
Load trekking equipment onto horses for transport to the campsite.

Visit the archaeological sites of Vitcos Rosaspata and Nusta Hispana.
