Meet your local tour guide at the airport for pick-up and transfer to the port.

Depart from Itaya River and navigate by the main Amazon River 3 hours upstream. On the way, you will pass many villages as one of the largest districts Tamshiyacu districts. 

Reach the Yanayacu river and your lodge. 

Enjoy the welcome drink and your private bungalow. 

Break for lunch. 

Go on your first excursion of the Yanayacu River to search for wildlife and see the sunset.

Begin with an early excursion at 05:30 a.m. for beautiful sunrise views and bird watching.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast of fruits, coffee, tea and milk.

Proceed for a jungle trek by walking in the Primary Forest area, and spot varied wildlife and flora. Your guide will share knowledge about local medicinal plants.

Go on boat rides and see dolphins in the Amazon River.

Have dinner and take a night walk for spotting night reptiles like tarantulas, snakes, frogs and more.

Begin with a boat excursion upstream the Yanayacu River and its lakes. 

See the different types of monkeys along river banks, including macaw monkeys. Pass by two beautiful lakes and enjoy the beautiful landscapes here. 

Have lunch and visit one of the villages around the lodge to see how local people live in the Amazon basin and learn about their local lifestyles and cultures. Look for the hoatzin, very well known as the prehistóric bird. 

Spend some time at the lakeside and see famous giant water lilies.

Go fishing for one of the most dangerous fish in the whole of the Amazon basin - the Piranha.

Head back to Iquitos city.
