Description
Go 35 km downstream on the Amazon River to stay in a basic rustic hut close to nature in beautiful Peruvian Amazon territory. Indulge in fishing tours, jungle treks and nocturnal walks to explore local flora and fauna.
Itinerary

Day 1: Nanay & Fundo Pedrito
Meet your local tour guide at the airport for pick-up and transfer.
Proceed to the Nanay port in the north; the Peruvian tour guide will explain to you briefly about the Iquitos city and about the Nanay market (fruits, fish, edible larvae from a palm tree).
Go on a typical boat to navigate the mighty Amazon river and on the way to the lodge, you will see the meeting of the rivers Nanay and Amazonas river, both differentiated by their colours.
Visit a touristic spot "Fundo Pedrito", where you will be able to see the famous largest fish in freshwater, the Paiche. You will also see piranhas, caimans, and giant water lilies, macaws, etc. Then, continue your boat trip to the lodge.
Arrive at the lodge with a typical welcome drink.
Enjoy a typical lunch and embark on a fishing tour (piranhas, catfish, sardines, etc).
Visit the sanctuary of the animals and search for dolphins.
Have your dinner and set out on a nocturnal walk to search tarantulas, snakes, insects, frogs, etc.

Day 2: Iquitos
Start an early excursion to see the sunrise and colourful birds in their habitat with your Iquitos tour guide.
Eat a lovely breakfast.
Visit the Yanayacu River to do the boat ride in search of wildlife and see a huge tree in the área.
Stop for lunch, and return to Iquitos city.
