• Meet your tour guide and, on the way out of the city towards the mountains, first visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque.

• Then proceed to Al Hazm Fort, an impressive fort with complex architecture featuring numerous secret passageways and hidden rooms.

• Enter the mountains through Wadi Sahtan to reach Bilad Sayt, where the lush green terraces are framed by the sheer cliffs of Jebel Akhdar.

• Drive further through Hat to Wadi Bani Auf, which offers a pass to cross the mountains into the Rustaq area.

• Return to Muscat along the coastal highway.
