Muscat City Highlights Shore Excursion

• Pick up from Muscat port gate.
• Begin with a visit to the majestic Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a religious landmark of Muscat and a splendour of unique Islamic architecture. Ladies should cover their heads with a scarf and wear long-sleeved clothes. Men should wear long trousers and a T-shirt with sleeves. The mosque is closed on Friday.
• Continue to Muttrah Souq, which offers a great opportunity to buy frankincense, gold, silver, perfume, and many other souvenirs.
• Venture to Forts Al Mirani and Al Jalali, two of the most impressive Portuguese forts in Muscat.
• Stop at Sultan's Palace, Al Alam Palace. Enjoy the drive along the beautiful Corniche to Old Muscat for a photo stop at Al Alam Palace.
• Spot the Royal Opera House and take pictures.
• Drop off at the hotel or Muscat port 1-1.5 hours before departure.
