Coastal Journey from Muscat to Sur
- Meet your tour guide and proceed towards the quaint fishing village of Quriyat through the stark mountain terrain.
- From here, continue the journey towards Sur, an established center for trade with East Africa. Today, the city has retained its reputation as a major dhow-building town.
- Next, head to Fatah Al Khair Center. The center provides exciting information about the maritime history of Sur and the culture of the people of Sur.
- Then, visit one of the dhow factories.
- Later, stop for lunch at one of the most famous local restaurants in Sur.
- Drive for one hour to visit the spectacular Bimah Sinkhole, a limestone crater with blue-green water at the bottom.
- Pass through the pretty village of Wadi Tiwi, set among the date palms beside the mountain.
- En route, make a spectacular photo stop at Wadi Shab.
- Drive back to Muscat.
