  • Pick-up is at 8:30 a.m. The city tour begins with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. This is one of the largest mosques in the Middle East and the only mosque in Oman open to non-Muslims and expatriates.
  • Later, drive along the picturesque Muttrah Corniche and visit Muttrah Souq, which retains the chaotic charm of a traditional Arab market, albeit housed under modern timber roofing.
  • Stroll through the souq, where you can buy Omani specialities such as frankincense and Omani daggers. You can also try bargaining for beautiful silver handicrafts and scarves.
  • Enjoy a moment along the corniche, admiring the various cruise ships on the water at Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Port.
  • You will then visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum. The museum tour provides a wealth of information about the country's structure, tradition, and heritage.
  • Then, it will be time for a photo stop at the official residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, Al Alam Palace, flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali.
