Itinerary

1. Day 01: Arrival in Muscat – Welcome and Hotel Transfer

   • Arrive at Muscat International Airport, where our professional chauffeur will welcome you.

   • Transfer comfortably to your hotel for check-in and relaxation after your flight.

   • Enjoy the evening at leisure in Muscat, exploring the nearby surroundings or unwinding at the hotel.

2. Day 02: Jebel Shams – Al Hamra – Misfat Al Abriyeen – Night at Jebel Shams

   • Begin the day at 8:30 AM with a hotel pickup by your guide.

   • Drive towards Al Hamra Village, a heritage site known for Bait Al Safa Museum, a 400-year-old restored mud-brick house that showcases traditional Omani life and culture.

   • Continue to Misfat Al Abriyeen, a charming mountain village with lush terraces, banana groves, and traditional honey shops.

   • Proceed to Jebel Shams, the “Mountain of the Sun,” standing at 3,000 meters above sea level.

   • Stop at the Grand Canyon viewpoint for panoramic views of the rugged mountains and deep valleys.

   • Later, drive down towards the heritage town of Nizwa for the night.

3. Day 03: Bahla Fort – Nizwa Fort – Nizwa Souq – Overnight in Nizwa

   • Begin the journey at 8:30 AM with a visit to Bahla Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 12th century, built by the powerful Banu Nebhan tribe.

   • Continue to Nizwa Fort, an impressive 16th-century structure renowned for its massive towers and historic battlegrounds.

   • Explore Nizwa Souq, where locals sell silver jewelry, frankincense, pottery, and traditional daggers.

   • In the evening, stroll along the Al Aqur Wall, a restored 700-meter section of a historic wall offering scenic views of Al Aqur village.

4. Day 04: Birkat Al Mouz – Wahiba Desert Exploration and Overnight Stay

   • Depart Nizwa and head towards the Wahiba Sands Desert.

   • Stop en route at Birkat Al Mouz Village, located at the base of Jebel Akhdar. Admire its lush palm and banana plantations, abandoned houses, and an active UNESCO-listed falaj irrigation system.

   • Continue to Wahiba Sands, where expert drivers will take you on an exhilarating dune bashing experience across the golden desert.

   • Arrive at your desert camp for relaxation.

   • In the evening, head to the top dunes for a spectacular sunset view and enjoy the serene desert atmosphere.

   • Conclude the day with a traditional Omani dinner under the stars.

5. Day 05: Sur Dhow Factory – Wadi Shab – Bimmah Sinkhole – Return to Muscat

   • Depart at 8:30 AM from the desert to Sur City, known for its maritime heritage.

   • Visit the Sur Dhow Factory and Maritime Museum, famous for handcrafting traditional wooden boats.

   • Continue to Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most beautiful valleys. Take a short boat ride followed by a 30-minute hike to reach the turquoise pools, ideal for swimming and relaxing.

   • Visit the Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone crater filled with crystal-clear water.

   • Return to Muscat in the evening for relaxation at your hotel.

6. Day 06: Dimaniyat Islands Snorkeling Tour (Shared Basis)

   • After breakfast, transfer to the marina for a sea adventure to the Dimaniyat Islands Nature Reserve.

   • Relax on one of the Dimaniyat Islands’ white-sand beaches, perfect for swimming and photography.

   • Enjoy a packed lunch on board before returning to Muscat in the afternoon.

7. Day 07: Departure from Muscat

   • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and prepare for your departure.
