You will reside in a beautiful teahouse where you will enjoy food and rest.
-
Day 2 : Phakding trek to Namche Bazaar (3450m)
- On the way to Namche from Phakding, you will pass through two more beautiful villages, Monjo and Jorsale. Namche Bazar is around 7.5 KM away from Phakding. In 5-6 hours, you will get your first glimpse of Mount Everest.
- You will enjoy the spectacular beauty of landscapes and villages.
You will settle down in a comfortable teahouse and take a rest from your trek for a day.
-
Day 3 : Acclimatization Day in Namche
- Once you are above 2500m above sea level, you can get altitude sickness. So, on the fourth day, before starting the genuine trek expedition, you must allow your body to get used to the altitude.
- You stay for a day and explore this beautiful and exotic Sherpa city, Namche Bazar. It is the wealthiest city in the whole country.
- You can interact with people or take a stroll/hike around the area. You will enjoy the view of the Himalayas from this village.
Be energetic and let your body acclimatize to that region.
-
Day 4 : Namche to Tengboche
- You will start your trail from Namche Bazar. You can enjoy the magnificent views on the way. Tengboche Monastery is the main attraction point of the Tengboche village. Flying prayer flags and moving prayer wheels will captivate you for a while. You can even offer butter lamps while you are here. This 5-6 hours trek from Namche to Tengboche also offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas.
You will have your food and take accommodation in a lovely teahouse there.
-
Day 5 :Tengboche to Dingboche
- After staying a night in Tengboche, you will go to Dingboche village. This village is probably the last Sherpa village in this trek expedition.

- Once you reach here, you can take a rest and interact with locals or simply gaze at the majestic view that will make your heart skip a beat every time.
You will stay at a teahouse and retire for a day.
-
Day 6 :Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
- Dingboche is already at an elevation of around 4,400m above sea level. It means you are ascending the altitude higher and higher. So, on your seventh day, it is better to take a rest and acclimatize. You will spend your day allowing your body to adjust to the altitude. This process reduces altitude sickness. Just take a chill pill and prepare for another day and a higher altitude. This charming village has a nunnery run by Tengboche Monastery. You can visit and observe the life of monks there. Since Dingboche is a social hub, you can spend quality time and make memories in this village.

- Once you leave Dingboche on your eighth day, you will trek to the small settlement area near Everest called Lobuche.
- To arrive at Lobuche, you will pass by an exotic Dugla Valley. The trail is full of beautiful views of the Himalayas height of more than 7000m. Lobuche, sharing the name of nearby peaks, isn't that pleasant a place as it has a stone hut for lodging. But the beautiful and splendid surrounding makes it unique.
- You will get basic lodging and food service here. You will retire here and rest here after your 4-5 hour trek of the day.
-
Day 8 : Lobuche to Gorakshep & hike to Kalapatthar
- Finally, on your ninth day, you will reach the original base camp for Mount Everest. It takes around 3 hours to reach Gorakshep from Lobuche.

The close-up view from here is very breathtaking and worth it. Whether you want to go to the Everest Base Camp or not, where mountaineers are preparing to ascend the highest peak, is your decision.
- So, you may want to descend back to the Gorakshep and spend your night after that enjoying your time in Kalapatthar.
-
Day 9 :Gorakshep to Pheriche
- On your tenth day, you can have breakfast on Gorakshep and start your journey of descending.
