Itinerary

1. Day 1: Drive to Sundarijal and Trek to Chisapani (2135m)

   • Pick up from Kathmandu and drive to Sundarijal (approx. 1 hour).
   • Begin the trek along Bagmati River through Tamang and Brahmin villages.
   • Stop at Mulkharka for lunch and enjoy panoramic Kathmandu Valley views.
   • Trek through Shivapuri National Park, passing oak and rhododendron forests.
   • Ascend to Shivapuri Hill (2729m) for Himalayan vistas.
   • Descend to Chisapani and check into your lodge.
   • Evening at leisure to enjoy sunset views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges.

2. Day 2: Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot (2175m)

   • Early morning sunrise at Chisapani with Himalayan panorama including Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Manaslu.
   • Breakfast at the lodge.
   • Trek gently through lush forests and terraced farmland.
   • Stop for lunch at Jhule village.
   • Continue trekking via Chauki Bhanjyang through rural landscapes and traditional villages.
   • Final uphill stretch to reach Nagarkot hill station.
   • Check into hotel and enjoy sunset and panoramic Himalayan views from your room.

3. Day 3: Trek to Changu Narayan Temple and Drive to Kathmandu (1400m)

   • Breakfast with a final view of the Himalayas.
   • Trek along scenic ridgelines through forests, farmland, and quaint villages.
   • Visit Changu Narayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its historic stone carvings and Newari architecture.
   • Explore the temple complex and learn about its cultural and spiritual significance.
   • Drive back to Kathmandu in a private vehicle, concluding the trek in the late afternoon.
