Climb your way through the most exciting trek in the world to the Everest Base Camp. Enjoy picturesque mountain landscapes interspersed with quaint villages and monasteries, glaciers and rivers as you trek through steep terrain. Your experienced mountain guides will ensure ample rest days to successfully complete the trek before you return to Kathmandu and spend a couple of days exploring its local architecture and culture.

    • On arrival at Kathmandu airport, a representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel.

    •  A short briefing will be provided about the next day program. 

  • Day 2: Explore Kathmandu expand_more
    • The Kathmandu valley has a lot to offer; it has got its own charming beauty with a lot of historical background. 

    • Meet your cultural guide who will take you to the must see places in Kathmandu. 

    • Spend the day visiting Swayambhunath (Buddhist temple), Kathmandu Durbar square (old Royal Palace) and the old local market full of spices, vegetables, traditional clothing, herbs etc.  

  • Day 3: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding expand_more
    • Early in the morning, head to the airport for a short flight of 45 minutes to Lukla with incredible mountain views. 

    • After meeting the crew in Lukla, you head up the Dudh Koshi River Valley; a gentle walk through the woods.

    • Trekking Time: approx. 4 hours

    • Heights: Kathmandu (1350m), Lukla (2840m), Phakding (2600m)

  • Day 4: Phakding Trek to Namche Bazaar expand_more
    • Today you continue north following the Dudh Koshi river to the prosperous Sherpa village of Khumbu. You enter Sagarmatha National Park via Jorsale and cross the suspension bridge for a steep climb to Namche Bazaar.  

    • You could walk around the local shops and cafes or even enjoy local nightlife and pool house. Be careful not to over exhaust yourself as it’s the first day at this altitude.  The body needs to be rested and get acclimatized.

    • Trekking Time: approx. 6 hours

    • Heights: Namche Bazaar (3440m)

  • Day 5: Rest day expand_more

    Today is an acclimatization day. Visit the museum and explore the village. If you are in good shape you can also visit Khunde hospital and walk up to the Everest View Hotel above Namche for the great view of Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse etc.

  • Day 6: Namche Trek to Tyangboche expand_more
    • It's a beautiful walking day today; the river is far below and the view of Khumbu peaks including Mt Everest rises in front. You drop down to the river again and follow a steep climb through the forest to the legendary monastery of Tyangboche.

    • Trekking Time: approx. 6 hours

    • Heights: Tyangboche (3860m)

  • Day 7: Tyangboche to Dingboche expand_more
    • You head up the trail to Dingboche after breakfast and descend through the stunning forest to Deboche. After crossing the river you have a short climb to Pangboche. 

    • The river looks stunning from this side and it also provides an impressive distraction from the trail as you continue up to Dingboche.

    • Trekking Time: approx. 6 hours

    • Heights: Dingboche (4300m)

  • Day 8: Rest day expand_more
    • Another day to let your bodies rest and acclimatize. If you are felling good you could go for a hike to nearby hills or to the Chukhung Valley, through which the Imja Khola flows. 

  • Day 9: Dingboche - Lobuche expand_more
    • You head up a wide valley beneath the impressive peaks of Cholatse and Tawache and turn right and climb steeply toward the Khumbu Glacier, passing many stone cairns. Have a gentle climb along the glacier to reach the cluster of houses at Lobuche.

    • Trekking Time: approx. 6 hours

    • Heights: Lobuche (4930m).

  • Day 10: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep and back to Gorakhsep expand_more
    • It is going to be a hard day. You walk around 3 hours along the Khumbu glacier to Gorakshep for lunch.

    • Head towards the Everest Base Camp. The round trip requires 5-6 hrs., following the glacier, moraine and sometimes on the glacier itself. Enjoy the crowning moment at Base camp and return back to Gorakshep for the night.

    • Trekking Time: approx. 9 hours

    • Heights: GorakShep (5170m), Everest Base Camp (5350m)

  • Day 11: GorakShep - Kalapattar - Pheriche expand_more
    • An early wake up call today to start the climb up the Kalapattar for one of the finest views in the Everest region. Enjoy the sunrise over the mountain and the amazing view of Mt. Everest and its surrounding mountains before returning to Gorakshep for breakfast.

    • After breakfast you walk downhill most of the way, as we retrace our steps to Duglha and then descend into Pheriche.

    • Trekking Time: 8 hours

    • Heights: Kala Pattar (5550m), Pheriche (4240m)

  • Day 12: Pheriche - Phortse expand_more
    • You rejoin the Imja Khola and continue along the river to Pangboche and make a gradual walk to Phortse.

    • Trekking Time: approx. 5 hours

    • Heights: Phortse (3860m)

  • Day 13: Phortse - Namche Bazaar expand_more
    • You descend down the river at Phortse and ascend steeply to Mong-La.

    • After a gentle down from here, you take the main trail and follow it all the way to Namche.

    • Trekking Time: approx. 5 hours

    • Heights: Namche bazaar (3440m)

  • Day 14: Namche Bazaar to Lukla expand_more
    • Its the last day of your trip. You descend down, passing the villages of Jorsale, Phakding,  Choplung  and arrive at Lukla to catch your flight back to Kathmandu the following day.

    • Trekking Time: approx. 7 hours

    • Heights: Lukla (2840m)

  • Day 15: Lukla - Kathmandu expand_more
    • Early wake up call to catch the flight to Kathmandu and say good-bye to the amazing Himalaya. 

    • After arrival, you are transferred to your hotel.

  • Day 16: Trip to Ancient town of Bhaktapur and shopping expand_more
    • Visit the ancient city of Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World heritage Site, known for its rich culture, temples, and wood, metal and stone artworks.

  • Day 17: Departure expand_more
    • Relax or do more shopping until its time for you to catch your flight to your next destination.

It’s pretty simple! Just click on book now, fill up the short booking form and make a deposit of 10% online. You will get the confirmation of your booking within 24 hrs by email. If you require any further assistance or have any questions please send us an email.


Booking conditions:

  • You will receive final confirmed by email once we have received 10% deposit as a non-refundable fee.

  • The remaining balance amount could be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu. But if you are joining the Bhutan tour 100% payment should reach our bank at least one month prior to departure date. 

  • If you cancel the trip after your arrival due to sickness or any other emergency, the full amount will be charged.

  • No extra charge will be deducted if you notify us to change the date 30 days prior the departure date. After that 10% extra charge will be charged for changing the date.

  • No refund will be made after departure if you decided to abandon the trip voluntarily or involuntarily or by any other reason or any kind of circumstances.

  • There are certain amounts of risk involved on the trip, which you are willing to take. It is mandatory to have your travel insurance, which covers a minimum of medical and rescue evacuation to join any of our trips.

  • We cannot be held responsible for any delays or cancellation of trip caused by flight, strikes, government regulation, weather or any other unavoidable circumstances.

  • Hawks eye reserve the right to cancel any trip before departure. In due cases, your deposited amount will be refunded without any charges.

  • All nationalities except Indians require a visa for Nepal, which could be obtained from Embassies abroad or on arrival at Tribhuwan international airport in Kathmandu. To avoid the long queue you could apply online.

  • You need to have one passport photo and following fees in US dollars to obtain the visa on arrival.

  • USD 25 for Tourist visa with Multiple Entries for 15 days

  • USD 40 for Tourist visa with Multiple Entries for 30 days

  • USD 100 for Tourist visa with Multiple Entries for 90 days

  • USD 2 per day for visa extensions.

  • Please note: The visa regulations and fees for visa change frequently so it is advisable to check the current rules with your nearest Nepalese Embassy or Consulate.
