Itinerary

1. Day 1: Drive to Dhunche (1,960 m) and Trek to Dhimsa (3,050 m)

   • Depart early morning from Kathmandu for a scenic drive to Dhunche.

   • Travel along winding mountain roads through terraced hillsides, forests, and small villages.

   • Reach Dhunche after approximately 7 hours.

   • Begin the trek to Dhimsa through a gradually ascending trail lined with rhododendron and pine forests.

   • Arrive in Dhimsa and settle in at a teahouse or lodge.

   • Enjoy your first mountain evening with views of the Langtang range.

2. Day 2: Trek from Dhimsa to Gosaikunda Lake (4,380 m)

   • Start the trek early after breakfast.

   • Follow a steady uphill trail through Deurali and reach Laurebina, known for its panoramic views.

   • Take breaks along the way to acclimatize and enjoy the changing landscapes.

   • Continue trekking across alpine meadows and rocky paths.

   • Reach Gosaikunda Lake by afternoon.

   • Spend time exploring the sacred lake and enjoying views of the surrounding peaks.

   Overnight at a lodge near the lake.

3. Day 3: Descend to Dhunche and Drive Back to Kathmandu

   • Wake up early for a warm breakfast by the lake.

   • Begin the descent back towards Dhunche, retracing your steps.

   • Pass through Laurebina and Deurali, stopping for rest and lunch en route.

   • Reach Dhunche in time to catch the local bus around 2 PM.

   • Drive back to Kathmandu by evening.

   • Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
